With over 100 years of history, Poças Wines remains in the hands of the founding family, now in its 4th generation. In 2020, Poças decided to launch a special edition wine related to tongue-twisters (trava-línguas) to create a unique consumer experience through augmented reality (AR).
The main goal was to develop an interactive experience using bespoke labels and animations created by renowned artists. The AR app needed to detect the label and overlay animations around the bottle, even on curved surfaces, which presented an additional challenge. Each label also included artist details and multi-layer animations.
